what i do and why it’s different:

As a former high strung, tight, workout-addicted, anxious, & unhappy lawyer, I began my journey into yoga to figure out why I could breathe better when I was on my mat, and why I felt short of breath pretty much every other minute of the day. I knew it' wasn’t just about the shapes.

At its core, all yoga is therapeutic: “relating to the healing of disease.”

Maybe your dis-ease is manifesting in trouble breathing (like mine); maybe you just feel ill-at-ease, a anxious, or unable to relax; perhaps you have an injury, or maybe you’re newly pregnant (or trying to become pregnant) and you’re working on wrapping your mind and body around the change, or the lack thereof.

Whatever the case may be, there’s a branch or a form of yoga that is just the thing.
