Do I have to be a certain level to join class?

Not at all. Whether you're brand new or a longtime student, there's a class for you. Check out class descriptions to get a sense of where to begin, but don’t overthink it—just explore. The point is to show up and feel better.

What if I don't have fancy props or a yoga mat?

You don’t need anything special to begin. A folded blanket, a firm cushion, or a belt can go a long way. Amy always offers creative options and teaches you how to work with what you have. Your practice should meet you where you are, not the other way around.

How should I set up my space and camera?

Set up your camera so that Amy can see your full body when you’re standing and lying down—this helps her give you better feedback. You don’t need a huge space, just a clear area big enough to move safely. Amy is also happy to help you figure it out.

Are the classes safe for elders and people with injuries?

Absolutely. Amy specializes in teaching all bodies. Whether you're healing from injury, aging gracefully, or just nervous to begin, you'll be met with patience, expertise, and careful instruction. This is not a one-size-fits-all practice—it’s built around your body and your needs.

What exactly is Functional Movement?

It’s Amy’s signature—and it’s not just a workout. Functional Movement is intelligent movement rooted in yoga, mobility work, and real-life biomechanics. Is Functional Movement the same as Yoga?

Yes. All private yoga sessions are held live via Zoom, so you can practice from the comfort of your home, with full interaction and support.

What can I expect from a private yoga class?

Each session is tailored to you. Expect questions, clear instruction, personalized feedback, and tools to support your practice both on and off the mat.

What’s the difference between All Access & Four Live + Replays?

With All Access you get unlimited entry to Amy’s eight live, small-group classes each week, plus class recordings and the full On Demand Library. With Four Live + Replays you get one live class per week (or four over the course of the month) plus the same access to recordings and the On Demand videos.
